The 2010 Triumph Gala, on Derby Eve, Southern Indiana’s only Derby Eve bash, will combine superbly dressed guests, the elegance of KYE's in Jeffersonville with some of the areas best live entertainment and a great silent auction.

Last year's first Triumph Gala was a great time had by all--and this year promises to be bigger and better. The Triumph Gala Committee is growing and committed to doing things better.

Planned for both corporate and private entertaining, the Triumph Gala is certain to be the party in Southern Indiana on Derby Eve. Enjoy the evening in your grooviest party garb and get ready to rock during the Triumph Gala at KYE's.

Great silent auction items to bid on.

A ballroom filled with neighbors and friends dancing the night away

Sounds from one of the best bands in the area--The Rumors

A covered courtyard for more casual conversation, lighter live music and other activities.

An intimate lounge with comfortable seating and light jazz music--in the Jazz Lounge--for those that want to get away from the Rock-n-Roll music.

PROCEEDS

Proceeds from the gala benefit local breast cancer support groups and other cancer charities. Contributions help fund medical research, patient services and educational programs.

Melissa's Foundation raises money to provide services for cancer patients. The foundation partners with local breast cancer and other cancer organizations to raise money--primarily with the Triumph Gala and thro ugh donations. One of the purposes of Melissa's Foundation is to provide funds for these worthy organizations so they can provide for cancer patients. Most of the time volunteers from those organizations assist with the gala and the fundraising efforts and they receive a substantial percentage of the money that the event raises.

Triumph Gala has partnered with CREF (Cancer Research and Education Fund) an organization formed by the doctors and associates of the Cancer Care Center located in New Albany, Indiana. This new organization assists with the education of the patient and the caregiver and has future plans to assist with financial means for patients unable to pay for cancer treatment at their center. In 2009 and again this year, CREF and their volunteers have organized the silent auction for the Triumph Gala. In return their organization receives the revenue raised from the auction
